Indiana Football: Latest on Injured Hoosiers McCulley, Black

McCully Nursing Ankle Injury

Indiana wide receiver Donaven McCulley is dealing with an ankle injury that has kept him out of practice this week. The injury is not considered serious, but it is unclear if McCulley will be able to play in Indiana's season opener against Illinois on Saturday.

McCulley is a key part of Indiana's offense. He led the team in receiving yards and touchdowns last season. If McCulley is unable to play, it would be a big blow to the Hoosiers' passing attack.

Black Out with Knee Injury

Running back Kaelon Black is also dealing with an injury. Black suffered a knee injury in practice this week and is expected to miss the season opener against Illinois.

Black is a talented running back who was expected to play a big role in Indiana's offense this season. His absence will be a setback for the Hoosiers.

Indiana coach Tom Allen said that he is hopeful that both McCulley and Black will be able to return to practice next week. However, it is unclear if either player will be able to play in the Hoosiers' second game of the season against Idaho on Sept. 10.
